About the hotel
This is a hotel right in the centre of Madrid, with free internet, a safe, daily press in the room. Enjoy our family rooms and our special offers for children, as well as our splendid breakfast buffet.
We are located on the corner of Gran Vía 31, the main commercial and leisure street of the country, within walking distance from the most important cultural sites. There is a public parking close to the hotel, two minutes from the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace etc.
The hotel features modern and comfortable furniture and a pleasant atmosphere. Our staff will attend you in everything you might need and inform you about all the places worth visiting in the area, excursions, typically Spanish tapas restaurants as well as museums and their opening hours and other tourist sites.
The hotel was completely renovated in 2003.
High Tech Gran Avenida (formerly Hotel Nuevo Gaos), was inaugurated in the 1930's. It has been completely renovated, and became one of the best and most modern international hotels in its category.

Room information
The reception is at your disposal 24 hours. Upon request, we have smoking and non-smoking rooms. The hotel has 5 floors with a total of 68 rooms and a lift.
- 11 Family Rooms: max. 4 persons, with 2 extra beds (subject to availability) ideal for families with children, adults on leisure trips, etc.
- 5 High Tech Rooms: including a PC, trouser press, home trainer, a hydro-massage shower and a sauna. These rooms are very spacious and offer a marvellous view over Gran Vía (on request).
- 10 Double Rooms with an extra bed: you can choose between one double bed + one extra bed, or 3 single beds.
- 42 Double Rooms: with one double bed or, on request, two single beds.
You can ask for an exterior or an interior room, and indicate whether you prefer an upper or a lower floor (always subject to availability).

Directions
From the airport:
Take the access to M-40 direction N-III and N-IV (Andalucía and Valencia). Take the deviation to Vicalvaro-O'Donnell. In the roundabout follow direction O'Donnell until Alcalá street. Follow Alcalá street until Gran Vía. In Gran Vía, at no. 31 you will find, in the corner, Mesonero Romanos street, where the hotel is placed.
Nearer metro stop: Gran Vía - Callao.
From the airport you can take a shuttle bus to the hotel (Aerocity).
